Yulanda Florence is a Freelance Journalist and writer originally from Rochester, NY. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Suny Brockport. She has been published in local newspapers and magazines in Rochester. She wrote her first children’s book Tyler Monroe No Basketball Pro in 2018.
Along with her writing endeavors, Yulanda has also worked in higher education for six years assisting with underrecognized students in STEM.
Yulanda has always loved writing. Her favorite section on her website would be her Monday Movie Reviews section in which she gives her thoughts and recap of current movies on and off the big screen.
Yulanda currently resides in Maryland with her family.
